Art Supplies to Finish Out the School Year

Help me give my students paper for their portfolios next year, origami paper to help with fine motor skills, and looms for our upcoming weaving projects!

My Project

As we approach the end of the school year, we need a few supplies to wrap up the year and some to help us start the next one. Thanks to recently donated yarn, we have an opportunity to teach our students the art of weaving. Weaving would be a great way to introduce them to a new medium and end the year on a creative note. As we gear up for testing, I plan to introduce origami as a way to help my students relax while improving their fine motor skills. Pre-cut origami paper would also be a great addition to our early finisher station. Finally, we are hoping to get large sulphite paper to create student portfolios next year. This is something I regret not doing this year, but having portfolios will help students be accountable and responsible for their own artwork. My students have worked hard this year, and I want to finish the year strong with these fun projects while preparing for the next.
