Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching in a Spanish Dual Immersion setting can be difficult when it comes to finding resources. Finding books in Spanish for students to read is another challenge, especially finding books that grab their interest, so getting students exited about writing can be challenging at times. Adding art projects to our reading lessons has proven to increase my student's interest and excitement.

This art supplies will allow my students to bring the stories we read to life.

Having art supplies in our classroom will give my students an opportunity to experience stories from a different point of view.
