My Students

My 7th and 8th-grade students are amazing! They are funny and smart and kind. They love learning and are always eager to try something new. This year I am teaching a class called Art Installation. In this class, we are painting public art in the form of positive messages around the school. These kids are so talented and excited to share their passion with the school.

Many of my students come from lower-income families and struggle to have basic supplies, much less money to by art supplies.

My budget for this class is zero. So far we have gotten by from the donations of old paint from emails we sent out. We really need specific paint colors and lots of them.

My Project

My students are so creative, and my class allows them to create art seen around the school. Art Installation is a new class in which students create murals and other public art around campus. Because it is a new class, there is no funding available for supplies, and we have had to rely on the generosity of donations. Needless to say, that means we have a great need for professional paintbrushes to be able to do detailed projects. My students are so appreciative of any support you can give!
