Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a wide variety of learners from English Language Learners to Gifted and Talented who have one thing in common a love of exploring art and it different mediums. Though we have quite a few who do not have access to the basic materials for exploring art at home. In my classroom they are immersed into the art world through exploration and develop their own unique style. During this country wide shutdown I would love to provide my students with these materials to use at home.

My Project

These materials will be handed out to each student to use at home during this time of crisis.

By giving each student their own materials they will all be able to continue to develop their artistic skills while at home and through the possibility of online learning in a subject that is hands on.

Many of my students have never owned these materials and their only knowledge of them is in my classroom. By giving each of them these materials to use at home, it sets them all up for success in these uncertain times and tells them that we all care about their learning and success.
