Students at our school are eager to learn and enjoy the hands on learning applications. There is school spirit shown at each activity whether it is a basketball game, a fundraising event, or school carnival. We have a high rate of poverty in our area and many students who are considered homeless by the state.

Art class allows for students to become larger thinkers thus allowing for creativity to flow through the work of my students not only in art class but as successful youth in our community.
My Project
We are requesting a self healing mat for the purpose of using tools that could potentially damage our art tables - like exacto knives, scalpels, and rotary blades here in our art room. We are also requesting a crop a dile punch so we are able to punch into heavier materials than paper.
Art supplies are ongoing items that need to be replenished, replaced, or purchased and can get expensive quickly.
We are requesting canvas and pencil sharpeners for general use in our art room as tools that are necessary and consumed all the time, having 4th through 12th grade students.
