My students need supplies for art projects with which to express their creativity and imagination. With their own water color sets and plenty of colored paper, students will be able to express themselves through art.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my classroom have moderate learning disabilities. Many people have underestimated the potential of these students throughout their educational experience. They live in a working class neighborhood near the Mexico-U.S. border. Many of them are English Language Learners. Since beginning our book study program, many of my students have made insightful discoveries through connecting with literary characters. Our school library has a limited number of books at the appropriate reading level for these students. Every student deserves access to enriching and engaging literature at an appropriate reading level. Help me engage these wonderful students with the story "Out of My Mind" by Sharon Draper. My Project
Students in my program need creative projects to be engaged in the curriculum, as well as social activities. Art projects are a wonderful way to engage my very creative and imaginative students. It is my priority to provide my students the time and tools necessary for self-expression through art.
This project will allow students to have their own watercolor set, with which to create beautiful representations of their learning.
In addition, the paper selection in this project will allow us to create countless art projects throughout the year, without worrying about where we are going to get the necessary supplies. Thank you for supporting this necessary project for these very deserving students.
