My Students
I am a second-year preschool teacher and am so excited to enjoy another year with my litter learners. One thing that I believe is important for children of any age is too have an opportunity to have hands-on art activities. Art activities not only boost a child's imagination it is also a great tool in promoting fine motor skills. By providing my classroom with art materials, I am hoping to achieve both imagination and fine motor skills while teaching creativity.
My Project
The children in my classroom will have access to much-needed art materials. I would like to order construction paper because we use it for art projects as well as in the art center and is something we go through quickly. I would also like to order watercolor paint because that has always been a classroom favorite! The last thing I ordered was popsicle sticks, I use these in crafts as well as with my curriculum. By providing these items for the children in my classroom, we are encouraging them to use their imagination and they are also learning fine motor skills.
