My students need two standing easels to assist in their focus to learn and be creative, especially in kindergarten and first grade.

Help us become the movers and shakers of tomorrow! My scholars are hard at work being creators of beautiful artwork and designs. Every child is a unique individual and learns in different ways, such as standing rather than sitting.
Our school is in it's second year as a public urban charter school.
We focus on reaching out in the community, learning with technology, and integrating art and design in the classroom. I have been fortunate to be one of the founding teachers to 360 wonderful children. Our students are ready for all of life's challenges by being design thinking, practicing skills that inventors and innovators in multiple industries use everyday.
As an art teacher, I adjust my teaching practices to meet every child's unique needs in the school. Some students learn better visually, some audibly, others kinesthetically. Six students can paint or draw while standing with the use of two adjustable standing easels. The wipeable, translucent surfaces act as a practice for kindergarteners and first graders at our art stations. The clips will hold paper for second through fifth graders who prefer to stand while painting or drawing rather than sitting on a stool.
Having this project funded would be an amazing addition to our art studio.
It would help so many students achieve creativity in the best way they learn. I would be extremely grateful to have this accommodating learning tool in my studio.
