My Students

At our school, we firmly believe that all children have the capacity to learn. Through this belief, we, as teachers, constantly find creative and new learning approaches to help our students be successful.

This year, I am working with twenty amazing four-year-old preschool students attending our full-day preschool program.

Although there are many differences in language, culture, and learning needs, my students all have more in common than not. They love to learn, find joy in playing, and have families who want to provide the best education for their children.

The love of school and learning should last well beyond preschool. Providing fun, caring, adventurous, exciting, and hands-on experiences in these critical early years will set them off on the right foot to success and continued enjoyment in learning for years to come!

The past year has been fantastic! My students have been so excited to receive items that we have had funded through DonorsChoose to use remotely at home. I can't wait to see the excitement on their faces as they explore new materials that help enhance our learning program. We are always grateful when a project gets funded!

My Project

We have moved into a new classroom this year and are still working to maximize our storage and organization. We really need a way to organize our assortment of paint so that it is accessible.

Our children have recently discovered their love of painting so we want to be able to provide different types of paint such as glitter, neon, tempera, and watercolor.

These racks will help us be able to access each paint bottle easily when the children choose what they would like.

We have delved into loose parts exploration this year and have gained quite a collection. They are not out all at the same time so the small parts storage will provide the perfect way to keep our loose parts organized when not in use. The stacking drawers will fit perfectly under our cabinet to provide organized storage of our materials.
