My Students

My students are dedicated, creative, and always striving for improvement. They deserve the very best educational resources available!

My students come from a wide range of backgrounds but have been brought together in their love of Art.

The recent pandemic has created financial hardships for many people and businesses, as well as for public schools.

In an effort to cut costs, teachers at our high school are no longer permitted to print classroom displays, handouts, and other materials in color. It's fairly dreary to have gray-scale labels and displays where there could be exciting color!

We are requesting donations to purchase a quality printer and cartridges to augment our program and enable us to provide the level of visual excitement for our students!

My Project

Gray-tone classroom displays in an art room are just wrong!

Thanks to COVID, our district budget has been cut and teachers are no longer permitted to print in color.

My art students use color printouts for reference photos and gridding, transfers, and to maintain excitement about their learning!

I use color printouts for classroom labels, displays, handouts, and resources - who wants to learn about color theory using black and white images? Can you imagine only knowing about certain artworks using black and white reproductions? No!

I like to use colorful decorations and props for bulletin boards and lessons, but right now I am having to choose to print without color, print and then color myself, or in some cases, I have even traced and then colored it in. With a color printer in my classroom, that won't be an issue anymore.
