Art Room Necessities

Help me give my students storage caddies, dish drying racks, soap dispensers, and more items for classroom use.

My Project

After the first semester of art has passed, the biggest take away is that art is messy! And it is important to acknowledge that if materials aren’t being properly cleaned, they have to be thrown away. One thing that I prioritize in my teaching is how to not be wasteful in art class. Art can be an extremely wasteful class, if we are not being proactive. The goal is to not just teach students how to create, but also how to make something last a long time. This supply caddy will help keep materials in order so that students can retrieve their materials safely. The materials we have been funded will not last long, if we are not taking care of them.

Drying racks are needed not only for our projects to dry, but also for the tools we used to create the projects.

Paint brushes and water cups put back in cupboards wet will grow mold. Drying racks and dish soaps will be an asset to keeping this classroom clean and organized. Please help my classroom make our materials last for years to come!
