My school is full of multicultural events throughout the school year. My parents and students work hard to maintain their culture. Parents have various ethnic backgrounds and families from India, China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Korea. My parents are supportive, respectful, and helpful. I have student families who greatly value the quality of education for their children and appreciate the time and effort put in.
My students love to read, write, and create.
They are bright children with great motivation who come to school everyday ready to learn. They have a great desire to succeed. We do this by displaying their work nicely on the walls for a positive classroom environment. The students at my school are friendly, encouraging, and helpful to others. They are curious about the world around them. I have student jobs for each of my students to encourage independence.
In the classroom, we would put the supplies to great use. I would greatly appreciate your support and generosity towards my classroom supplies. Thank you so much!
My Project
I am asking for supplies from Lakeshore Learning, Blick Art, Best Buy, and Staples.
My students love doing art projects every year and show their creativity.
I am continuing to give art projects during distance learning and would love to provide some of these, including foil art, painting (with painting cups), and more.
I would also love to provide some new items in my classroom for computer time, music, and language arts activities. I would use the headphones when students are on computers in the classroom. I would use the music players and listening center for small groups and reading/language arts activities. I play audio stories to the class and would love to have a reliable and good quality music player for the students.
I am also asking for bandanas to give to students this year, which would go along with our California/Gold Rush theme coming up. The paper centers would be used to organize papers and also for individual cubbies for the students.
