Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are enthusiastic preschoolers so full of love and compassion! They come in every morning with a smile on their faces excited to get the day started. We have really created a little family of our own and my students love coming to school every day. They encourage each other and love to help with anything they can. This year has been hard since they aren't able to play with each other but even through the tough times they have found a way to fill each others buckets. They have really found a love for art this year and are often making drawings, letters, and cards for each other. As their teacher I couldn't be more proud of them! I love seeing their creativity in action and want to continue to give them the opportunity to create whatever they put their mind to. These children have really taken every challenge this year with a smile on their face and truly deserve the world!
My Project
These materials will fuel my students' imagination and creativity! They have had a hard time having to play in their own areas without being able to play side by side with their friends and have used art as an outlet. My students will create art for their friends and get excited when they are able to use new materials!
These art materials are not just crayons and paint, they are a portal to imaginative stories and happy moments in our classroom.
These tools will be used by little hands that feel so proud when their creations come to life. As we are running low on materials I would love the opportunity to give my students more art supplies and let them know we have friends out in the world that care for and support them!
