Art Is Not What You See, But What You Make Others See
My students need art supplies, including paint, brushes and clay. We currently do a lot of drawing with colored pencils and crayons on plain computer paper! I want to instill the love & excitement of Art!
We need art supplies! My students do not have all the supplies they need. I would love to have my students learn to paint, use chalk pastels and do clay projects! I want to instill a love of Art!
I teach 5, 6 and 7th grade students at a Russian charter school in Minnetonka, MN.
These students are so excited about Art, especially when we talk about Russian Artists. There are so many students who have not had the opportunity to work in artistic mediums like clay and pastels.
We need new art supplies so that my students will have an opportunity to prove their talents. At the present time we are using supplies left over from last year and we tend to draw on plain computer paper. I would love to see my students get the supplies that they deserve. I am very hopeful that we will receive the chalk pastels, paint and clay to use in ART!
Art supplies will make a huge difference in my students' classroom experience.
Students tend to get bored easily and if they are doing the same thing over and over, they will lose interest in art. I don't want my students to become bored with my class. If we can get new art supplies, they will be able to explore art in many different ways.
