My Project
This project will allow me to integrate art into our second-grade classroom throughout the year. This project will provide materials for many different projects throughout every season.
The materials requested will allow me to provide projects for five second-grade classrooms that integrate with our academic standards throughout the year; it will also allow us to have fun and be creative!
The ornaments and tissue paper will be used to create picture ornaments and personal pinatas when we learn about holidays around the world in our ELA time. The cups and flower pots will be used for a Mother's Day gift that will accompany a poetry project for all second grade students. The wooden discs will be used to create jewelry during a camping themed spring event at our school. The materials will help us create an opportunity for students to express their creativity! This is so important to their overall growth as students.
