Art in the Classroom

Help me give my students access to art materials! Oil pastel drawings, wire sculptures, clay sculptures and more can be created with the pieces in this project.

My Project

My students are middle schoolers in a federal setting 3 program. They are exceptional student with developmental and cognitive disabilities.

Art is great for their creativity, fine motor skills, and emotional expression.

Providing these materials will give my students access to materials they haven’t had the chance to work with. Many of my students have motor needs and these projects allow my students to strengthen their hands in different ways. These materials also provide positive sensory input which will help my students focus.

All students should have the opportunity to explore multiple mediums. My students are so creative, their work would be something they would be proud of!
