This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking you to help me provide painting supplies such as canvases, paint, brushes and palettes for my students. I know that my group of 2nd graders have more needs that I can imagine. I know that their mental health and well being will benefit from these items. Painting is fun and therapeutic and in a time like this, post virtual learning, it will allow their little minds to focus and allow them to express themselves through painting activities.

Mental Health is key to education and human development.

It is more crucial now than ever! I want to give my students the opportunity to paint their feelings because painting promotes stress relief and expands creativity.

I hope that you can contribute to our classroom.
