Art for the Fabulous First Grade!

Help me give my students the access to art materials! We are becoming an art inspired school, and I would love to set the tone for my classroom with art materials which I do not have.

My Project

I teach the most wonderful group of students this year... they have done an excellent job of being resilient six and seven year olds in a tumultuous year. COVID-19 has impacted their learning in almost every way. It is hard to see where it has not affected their lives, but they are starting to THRIVE despite all the set backs we have faced in education. The requested resources will help my students find purpose and drive in art to further their learning. Becoming an art focused school will help our students learn to channel their creative energy that may have been lost during the pandemic; helping students focus on art is amazing, but comes with necessary supplies. We want our students to be well rounded individuals who are able to partake in our community, and we believe art is a great way to help students learn these important qualities.
