Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very curious and creative. They are eager to explore a variety of art materials, research different themes for their artwork, learn the theory of art and apply it to their art projects, .
It is great to watch how proud they are to present their artwork to the world.
We have ongoing school art exhibit, the students create posters to represent their interests and explore their multicultural heritage.
My Project
These materials will give the students the possibility to create foil art through embossing technique. The students will use provided tools to express themselves and gain experience in working with texture and form as the Elements of Art.
The students that want to explore the art profoundly, will receive the access to the high quality supplies which will give them the chance to create competitive artwork.
Some of the students may use it to create the artwork for auditioning for Visual Arts Magnet School. We are also planning to participate in the art contests.
