I teach PK through 5th grade students and enjoy watching my little artists create and grow every day. My job is AMAZING and my students are AWESOME!! They are silly, unique, and creative. I enjoy listening to their thought processes behind their art. So many of them have fun stories and details in their work that you may not realize at first glance. Art is such an important part of their educational experience and development as creative thinkers.
Our school and district are classified as Title I.
Having a document camera in the art room will allow ALL my students to be able to SEE art demonstrations and examples clearly!
This will help students to be more successful and will make lessons more efficient.
I will use the camera to display project examples as I work on them during live demos. This will allow students to watch me draw, paint, or mold clay in real time as I describe the technique I'm using to students. This is important because it is often difficult for all students to gather around me and see demonstrations in the art room.
