Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I get the amazing wonderful honor of teaching art at an elementary school. My students are kind, loving, and brave. Supplies like the watercolors, oil pastels, and paper will allow students to create art and express themselves and their emotions in safe and healthy ways.
Many of my students come from multigenerational homes, and have been struck very hard by the devastation of covid.
I have many students struggling to cope with their emotions and how to express them. These art supplies will give them that safe outlet to do so.
