Art Class Isn't Very Colorful Without a Color Printer

Help me give my students a printer, ink, and a ladder for our art classroom so we can teach and display student artwork with ease

My Project

Our students love learning about art history and geography in art class. We focus each lesson around a historical or contemporary artist, and our students do creative projects exploring that artist's unique medium or style. These lessons are greatly enhanced by full color images of the artist and their work.

By donating to our project, you will help bring art history to life for our students.

Currently, in order to print in color, we rely on the one color printer in the media center. Asking them to print for us is a lot of extra work for our media center team who are already responsible for so many tasks that help our school run. We'd love to take that burden off their shoulders and make printing quick and easy in our classroom. It will allow us to work smarter as a school community, not harder!

We also desperately need a step ladder for our art room. With many materials up on high shelves we are often dangerously balancing on chairs, or searching the school for an available ladder. Having a tall step ladder will allow us to not only prep our art projects with ease, but will be incredibly helpful as we install beautiful student artwork around the school.

We have big dreams of turning our students' Chihuly inspired flowers into light boxes on the ceiling of our hallway -- and a ladder for our art room is vital for getting this installation finished!
