My Students

As an art teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to inspire and encourage my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. With the use of visual art and gardening, students will have a hands on approach to their community. The students are very excited and passionate about their education and whats to come at our school.

My Project

Reading is a tool used in the art room to capture a child's creativity. The art room is in need of art books and Lego's for free time. The books that will be donated will touch a child's heart and push them to be the best they can be. When a child finishes their artwork they can choose from different activities until art is over. Art related books is a must. They can also use the Lego's to create with. Having these materials in place will make the art room a more expressive place to learn. We strive to be the best at CES.
