Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class is home to 18 amazing, fun-loving, inquisitive, enthusiastic, first graders who are always ready to learn.
My school, located in New Mexico, is a Title I school filled with a diverse group of students from all walks of life.
We work hard every day.
My first graders are always eager for a challenge. They are bright and very creative. The students in my class are inspired by the world around them and love to build with anything they can get their hands on.
My Project
My class this year loves to create art! I have had to go shopping every couple of weeks to try and keep up with the art supplies in the classroom!
These materials will help replenish our art shelf in our classroom that is used daily for free, creative art opportunities!
This class can not get enough opportunities to make, build, create hands-on art. Art is a way to express themselves and is a fun, relaxing, social activity. The tape, pom-poms, sticks, dabbers, glue, material, paint, beads will be used and loved if you so choose to support this project!
