Help me give my students the supplies needed to experience art skills related to ancient civilizations. I am requesting privacy partitions, a wall map, and mosaics. My students need these items for learning history!
My students come to school eager to learn something new every day. When they walk into the classroom, they are willing and ready to work, and they enjoy the atmosphere of the classroom. Students are helpful and respectful to each other, and they often help each other when needed.
Our school is a close community of friends and neighbors who help each other and are very respectful if someone is in dire need of anything.
Random acts of kindness are practiced daily in our community.
My Project
The mosaic art materials will be used to facilitate learning about art and the history of art with ancient civilizations. Being able to make and create mosaic patterns will enable my students to look at art in an abstract way.
Students will apply their artistic skills by creating mosaic patterns from early ancient civilizations, and make connections with those civilizations.
These supplies will provide hands on learning in ancient history.
The students will display their mosaics, and discuss how each one is created differently. Students will make connections as they discuss their differences with their peers, and provide their assessment on the assigned lesson.
