I create a positive environment where every child feels loved, valued, and important every day! I work diligently to meet the social and academic needs of every student. My students love to be greeted every morning as they come into class. They see my smile, hear my laugh, and watch my ever-moving Converse sneakers, as I move around the room to start another day of joyful learning.
My Project
My students need a variety of fun art materials to express their creativity and originality. Structured art lessons, as well as creative free choice art projects, are a valuable part of a child's education in kindergarten.I am requesting paint, paint brushes, sticker eyes, tempera paint sticks, and paper to provide interesting and unique materials for artistic expression.
There are many developmental benefits to incorporating art into the curriculum.
Art develops a child's fine motor skills and increases language development as students describe and explain their creations. Art also helps aid in the development of decision-making skills, visual learning, and improvement in academic performance.
