My students need a theater so they could play by themselves during dramatic play time. We also need some puppets.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
A majority of my students are Hispanic, as am I. Kids have always been a big part of my life. Many of them continue to contact me several years after they have left the school I teach at. I always teach their younger or older siblings, as well as them. They invite me to birthday parties, and holiday celebrations. I have a good connection with their parents, and the children see me as a mother figure. I love teaching children.
My Project
The "Around the World Puppet Show" will be a daily activity for the kids when we get our new puppets and puppet theater. When students have dramatic play time, they will have the opportunity to use the multicultural puppets and the theater. It will benefit them because they are all of different ethnicities, and they can learn about different cultures. Teaching children about other cultures at an early age, will teach them to treat everyone the same, despite race. It will not only teach them about respect, but it will teach them about where different countries, and languages are used. It can expose them to other parts about the world, in an easy learning way. I think this will be good for them. I cannot wait for them to do it.
