This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help us become Architects! Our class has been given the opportunity to spend time exploring Architecture.

Our classroom is located in Maryland at a public Title One elementary school.

A large majority of our population receives free and reduced lunch. My students are very diverse and all have different needs. Every day my students amaze me because they are so willing to learn about everything and anything. They are like little sponges.

My Project

At the library, I was able to find many books on architecture. Some of the stories talk about what an architect does while others explain ways to build bridges, skyscrapers, castles and famous landmarks. Having the building blocks will give my students a hands on opportunity to build bridges, skyscrapers, castles and famous landmarks.

My students need different kinds of building blocks so that they can experience what it is like to build bridges, skyscrapers, castles, famous landmarks and more!!

Who knows maybe some day one of our students will be a famous Architect!
