My Students

I run a verbal behavior classroom to teach my students functional skills they will one day need to live on their own.

I have been teaching at a district 75 public school for 2 years, which is a title one school.

I have a 6:1:1 classroom, children with autism. Prior to this, I worked as an early intervention provider for 2 years, providing ABA services to children with autism.

My Project

This workshop focuses on the behavioral approach to teaching communication skills to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. This approach is based on B.F. Skinner’s analysis of verbal behavior and the research of Michael, Sundberg, Partington, and others. This workshop will help me learn more verbal behavior and ABA procedures, as that is what my classroom is based on.

Donations to help me go to this workshop will enhance my knowledge of ABA and verbal behavior from one of the most prestigious workshops there is in this field.

This would help me in my classroom by providing me with more knowledge in this subject area. In addition, I will be going back to school for my BCBA, so this will help me with my studies.
