This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students love to learn. They enjoy singing, dancing, playing dress up, and building tall buildings with the blocks! In our classroom, we focus on learning through movement and exploration. I strive to give students the opportunity to be hands-on with their learning by using manipulatives. We learn to interact with each other through creative play. We start each morning by singing and dancing on the carpet together as a classroom family. My goal is that with your help, I will be able to provide my students will all the things that they need to learn.

My Project

I would like to use an Apple TV in my Pre-K classroom to connect with an I pad to project on the SMARTBoard. This would give me the capability to teach a new skill, show examples and give students the opportunity to share what they are doing on the I pad. Apple TV would allow me to walk around the classroom and assist students instead of having to stand and teach next to the SMARTBoard. I want all my students to be engaged and learn together. Apple TV will allow my students to stay on target and ask questions.
