Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is nestled on the western Gulf Coast in South Texas. My students are amazing kindergarteners from the U.S. and Mexico. Most of them are Spanish speakers and come from low socioeconomic households that are considered at risk.
They read books, draw pictures, build sentences, and try to be independent before first grade!
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning. They are fearless when it comes to technology, and as the future of Texas, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools.
I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that every kid's needs are met.
I have an incredible class. I am so thankful to have students that are eager to learn every day!
My Project
All children in our time like to play and learn in every possible way. However, at their young age, technology is part of their lives.
With Apple TV, my students will be more attentive to our daily math literacy routine.
Part of our daily routine are numbers, colors, geometric shapes and coins and bills. With the use of Apple TV, my students will find the most attractive routine full of colors and their level of attention will be better.
