My Students

Hello! I teach young adults in eighth grade. Our middle school is located in a low-socioeconomic area. Although we are in a struggling area, the students love to learn in various way. As a first year teacher, I would love for my students to get the opportunity to expand their growth in and out of the classroom using a variety of learning tools.

My Project

Education is changing every single day, and so are my students’ interests. We are constantly learning new and “modern” ways to teach our students so we can keep up with the times. I have found that I am lacking tools that would help cater to my students’ needs. My class loves using technology in their daily lives, so I believe it would be extremely beneficial for them to use technology more frequently in the classroom. With technology becoming a major part of education today, I want to make sure my students are prepared for their future both on and off the screen. Having an Apple TV in the classroom would allow students to participate in person and online while also being introduced to a diverse way of learning.
