I am the lucky Spanish teacher of students that come from a wide variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. Our city is a very diverse community with students that look forward to coming to school every day. Education is the future for these students and I want to do everything I can to support them and help them to reach their fullest potential during this difficult times. As we continue to navigate this difficult time as a school community one of our goal is to continuing to advance our students education. For most of the students that walk into my middle school Spanish classroom, my class it’s their first experience at learning a foreign language. My personal goal is to make sure it is an unforgettable experience!
With your help, I can incorporate as much technology as I can to benefit my students learning and understanding of the Spanish language. Having an updated laptop will help me continue to guide my instruction during the hybrid teaching model that our school district is implementing. While I will have some students in front of me, I will also have part of my students engaging in distance learning. This laptop will allow me to stay connected with my students and provide them with real time feedback on their work. It will also facilitate my ability to engage my students in learning a foreign language which is crucial for our society. People who speak another language score higher on test and think more creatively and I want that for my students. I want my students to remember their middle school world language experience as fun and engaging. Please help me help my students by donating during this difficult time of teaching and learning.
