My Students

The mission of our band program is to build team players and leaders for our community and school. The spirit and work ethic of our students is undeniable and they rise to any challenge that is set before them.

Our class motto "Trust the Process, Live the Process, Be the Process!" is the framework of our leadership and organizational structure.

Students create, perform, respond and connect to our community through musical experiences. The majority of our students do not come from affluent families, so our program is a family and a safe place for them to be themselves and to grow into productive young men and young women who contribute to our society.

My Project

The internet has gone crazy with collaborative videos and one man band projects using an application called "Acapella" created by Mixcord. This application is available only on Apple products.

The application allows a single or multiple users to create a video and mix their parts, which in turn improves musicianship and is lots of fun!

Students will learn basic to intermediate skills in video and music production and will be able to create unique projects that can cover classroom assigned music or songwriting projects where students create their own music to publish.
