My Students
I teach in an urban cross categorical classroom. Each student has unique talents and abilities. We celebrate our differences and accept the challenges of each day as an opportunity to grow.
My students are very energetic and full of life.
The learning diversity in our classroom offers wonderful opportunities for learning. My students love reading, dancing and exploring with hands on activities. I look forward to every day I have with them because I learn something from them each day.
My Project
My students are all energetic and sometimes that awesome energy needs to be channeled into positive learning moments. I have a sensory corner that needs some fidgets and a comfy chair to help them calm down or take a break when needed. The weighted lap fidgets will allow them to feel secure and help them calm down in a stressful moment. The bean bag chair is a great spot for them to sit and read or just relax. These items are important to the overall calm in our class and allow learning to continue.
My students love to read!
I want to give them a tool that will strengthen their read aloud and speaking skills. The Whisper Phone is perfect for this. This resource allows them to hear how they sound to others when speaking and reading aloud.
