App Augmented Counseling

Help me give my students apps that have therapeutic value when I'm working with students to put them at ease and engage them in counseling activities.

My Project

As a school psychologist, I work with students who often experience learning difficulties, as well as social-emotional challenges. These students are also increasingly engaged by electronics, and much of their education now takes place digitally on chromebooks and tablets. Technology offers students an engaging platform that has educational benefits.

I would like to offer the students I work with a tablet in my office with therapeutic apps.

As a school psychologist, I believe this will help engage those students who would otherwise be uninterested and disengaged from the counseling process.
