My Students
Well, they are aspiring students who are signed up to take a challenging Advanced Placement Statistics course to earn college credit and become critical thinkers. They will be taking one of the best college preparatory courses in high school due to the rigorous thinking required for inferential reasoning.
This diverse group is special because they are leaders in there school and will set the example for their peers.
They have stepped up to the plate and are going to swing to make home runs!
My Project
There are newer calculators and more expensive, but this calculator, the TI-84 Plus, in my experience, is more direct and simpler for the students to use and understand.
Students will be working at home for a significant period of time this year because of COVID-19 and will need an effective tool for statistical calculation.
It will be used all year long and they will not only learn the material of the course but really learn the full capabilities of such a tool which capable of doing so much advanced work.
