My students are thriving young musicians. They are exploring all aspects of performance from music literacy, character development, solo performance, and ensemble experiences. Music experiences encourage collaboration.
Meeting students with 21st-century real-world learning opportunities are essential to providing relevance in a traditional music performance ensemble.

Our school is in the heart of a community that supports education and knows its value. Students are motivated and engaged. Students are eager to learn; they embrace a challenging work environment, and they desire to be the best in all endeavors.
The Barrons AP Music Theory along with the Alfred Essential Software will be utilized during individual and group instruction to enhance student knowledge. Music Theory develops and sharpens music students analytical, critical thinking and literacy aptitude.
The resources will support preparation for the AP Music Theory Exam.
It will also be used to support music literacy so that students have a deeper understanding of how music is put together. As my students progress through AP Music the additional materials requested will aid and support student growth. The items listed will help students by providing another layer of support for mastery of musical concepts.
