My Students

Help my AP Chemistry students experience a meaningful science education.

My AP Chemistry students are mostly females from a 100% minority background.

They are motivated, hardworking and dedicated to their studies. They plan to pursue careers in science, technology, and engineering. We want to help make their dreams come true by providing the best possible academic experience. In chemistry, allowing students to conduct inquiry-based, hands-on labs is one of the most effective ways to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills thus help them prepare for the career that they intend to pursue.

My Project

I am requesting technology equipment, classroom supplies, and AP chemistry inquiry lab kits that will allow my students to experience hands-on science. The materials that I am requesting will allow me to provide students meaningful inquiry and lab investigations and an environment where they are well supported. The students will have the opportunity to see chemistry in action.

With stimulating classroom experiences and appropriate materials, I am hopeful that my students will become more inspired to pursue STEM courses in college.
