My students this year are fantastic kids. We have only had school for about 2 and a half weeks and they have been wonderful listeners and hard workers. They love to help each other succeed. I believe that this group has already been working so hard that they deserve something amazing in their classroom this year. I am beyond impressed with how they selflessly help each other with their technology, assignments, and just being great friends out on the playground.
My Project
The learning environment in today’s classroom is about the ability for a student to feel like they are allowed to move around while they learn. By purchasing these adjustable wobble stools, this allows the students to be able to keep their body busy while their brains are concentrating on the lessons. I have personally purchased 2 non-adjustable wobble chairs, core balls, and swivel buckets for the students to use. By adding the adjustable wobble stools it gives the taller and shorter students more options. Many of the students like to change the type of seating they use daily.
Another added benefit is creating proper posture.
This ultimately allows students to retain more information and become more successful while they are learning. By becoming more successful, their individual confidence will grow along with their peer confidence. By creating personal confidence, this will instill social and creative habits to become successful individuals and in group settings.
