My students need seat sacks to keep organized at their seats, this allows for us to use tables instead of desks. They also need balance disks to help them while sitting for long periods of time.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My class consists of inquisitive scholars living in the greater Washington D.C. area. They are part of an Advanced Academic Program, expanding their academic potential. Most speak a second or third language at school, as they, or their parents, were born in different countries, providing unique connections to class discussions. Yet they're lucky, as some of their family members weren't given the same educational opportunities.
My scholars lead very rich lives, but not in the monetary sense.
As a teacher, I try to work very hard to make sure they have as many opportunities as possible.
My Project
Students tend to sit most of the day while they're learning. This isn't to say they don't get movement throughout the day, but a large part of their day is still sitting. In order to provide an alternative to traditional desks and chairs, I've removed the desks from our room and replaced them with tables. While this provides for better collaboration and the chance to stand more easily, unfortunately, this also takes away storage space. Seat sacks will help eliminate the need for additional storage, they'll easily be able to store their notes and any books they are reading right behind their chair.
So what about the sore bums and antsy students?
Balance disks to the rescue. Sitting on one of these is life changing! They seriously change the game of chair sitting and after long hours makes it more fun!
In all seat sacks will enable table seating by assisting in organization and balance disks will ease the pain of sitting for long periods of time.
