Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is a high school serving students in grades 9-12. We are in an urban neighborhood. Many of our students immigrated from another country or are the children of immigrants. Many of my students will be the first in their families to graduate from high school.

Many of my students are college-bound, hard-working, highly motivated, and dream of success!

They are awesome! Most are from lower socioeconomic status but have the endurance to make it to 12th grade and most aim to go to college and get a degree. They dream of becoming everything from doctors to teachers to lawyers and entrepreneurs. I am the proud teacher librarian at my school.

A TV monitor and mount will enable us to have a rotating announcement image screen as well as play video announcements in our school library. Our students will be well-informed citizens in a high tech library. Thank you for your support!
