The students at my school are so excited about learning. They come into the Innovation Library every day ready to expand their knowledge by reading books, creating projects, conducting research, coding, etc.
The Innovation Center is a place where students are encouraged to use their imaginations to create, explore, and investigate things that they are learning about in class or things that they have an interest in learning more about.
Many of my students don't have access to books and technology at home, so our Innovation Center is like a treasure chest to them!
My Project
My students absolutely love reading and learning about animals. This is by far the most requested topic in the library.
These books will get my students excited about reading for several reasons.
First of all, some of the books are about animals that may be new to many students. For example, the book about the elusive Lynx is sure to introduce new and exciting facts about this fascinating animal. On the other hand, my students will be super excited about the book titled Raccoons because many of them have spotted raccoons in their backyards and want to know more about them.
These are just the books that I need to help satisfy my students' thirst for knowledge about the animal world.
