My Students

The students at my school are out of this world amazing. They are eager to learn, extremely motivated, and have a passion for scientific inquiry. I am awestruck by their compassion and kindness to each other and admire their love of learning.

My Project

We are expanding our live organisms in the science lab at Chelsea Prep PS33. We are in desperate need of animal supplies to help maintain our famous Guinea pig named bear. Our charismatic bearded dragon also needs some supplies for his tank to keep him nice and comfortable. But most importantly I recently brought into the school a beautiful 75 gallon fish tank with amazing fish. I really need help with all the supplies that are needed. I'm willing to do all the hard work of taking care of the animals but I do need some help with the cost of the materials. These animals help children learn about the benefits of living organisms which is a topic in our science unit. The children being able to engage and observe the animals really brings enjoyment to the students as well as reinforces scientific exploration, content, and vocabulary.
