My Students

My students are energetic, enthusiastic learners! Despite the challenges of the pandemic, they come to school each day ready to learn and take on new challenges. They work hard and stay on task. They are highly motivated by classroom rewards and push themselves to do their best. They are very astute and insightful. They pick up quickly on what is going on around them. They love science and learning about new topics.

My Project

The pandemic has created a lot of challenges and many students have learning gaps as a result of the disruptions the pandemics has caused to their schooling. The books in this project will help me provide my students with motivating learning opportunities that will help them grow as readers and writers.

My students love learning about science topics and these books about animal adaptations will be a wonderful resource for learning about non-fiction text features and for developing their research skills.

The Keva Planks will provide collaborative learning opportunities for our class. As students work together to complete engineering challenges, they will also build relationships and develop their social-emotional skills. These hands-on activities make learning and working together fun!
