My Students

Have you ever been to a butterfly house and witnessed the stages in a butterflies life? My students would be ecstatic if they could see a butterfly hatch, or a ladybug hatch, or see an ant farm. It is my experience that most children learn better by seeing something concrete.

We have some of the best students here.

They are very inquisitive and very much enjoy learning about things in their world. Parents are constantly telling me how excited their children are about what we are learning in science. Through hands-on activities and experiencing an animal hatching their learning will be enhanced.

My Project

If I receive the ant habitat, butterfly kit, and ladybug land I will be able to get my students excited about learning about animal life cycles. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and most of them are not exposed to very many learning opportunities away from school.

Donated items for the life cycles will have a very positive impact on my students.

Students will not only be able to witness animals hatching but will experience hands on how to care for these animals.
