Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I want to inspire the learners of today to be the leaders of tomorrow. I teach middle grades English language arts in a high poverty school under budget constraints.

I am wanting to teach this novel but cannot because of the condition of the current books we have which are missing pages and falling apart. Due to budget constraints we will be unable to buy any more textbooks or supplement books anytime in the near future.

All that I need is the novel itself. By having a copy of the novel they can take outside of the classroom, students will be able to do more independent reading and be better prepared for class collaboration and activities such as literature circles. "Animal Farm" has proven to have greater readability for many levels of readers, it generates high interest in the students, and brings a plethora of topics that can be analyzed.

You will make it possible for my students to benefit from the resources of this classic novel and have a better understanding and appreciation of global perspectives.
