My Students

Creating digital projects is a vital skill for today's students. The 10 year old MacBook that we used for presenting has died after years of hard use. We need a new machine.

My students have parents who run the gamut from upper middle class engineers to migrant farm workers.

They attend a public middle school with ~1000 7th and 8th graders. We are a highly achieving school but as with so many schools resources are scarce.

My Project

I'm asking for an inexpensive up-to-date laptop to use for student presentations. My science class uses a lot of technology tools that my students research, learn, and create science assignments, presentations, and websites with. We need this new laptop to make it easier to share the final products my students create.

The laptop I am requesting will help my students improve not only their science learning but also the 21st Century digital skills that are becoming increasingly important for future success.
