Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love carpet time; a big part of our learning is done during whole group. We use anchor charts to discuss several topics. These anchor charts are beneficial in subjects like reading and math. It allows students and teachers to collaborate and create something that they can go back and reflect on. It is quiet challenging to place this anchor charts in the classroom in a space where students can easily see them. With this easel board, it would be more accessible for students to refer and work with anchor charts.
