My Students

The students at WES are intelligent and extremely motivated! My students are kind children who embrace learning and never hesitate to help their classmates learn! The students are independent learners for the most part, which allows me time to work with them on extending skills. For instance, they are capable of running their own book clubs within our class and decide upon the amount of pages they will read within a set amount of time. I am truly so lucky to work with them every day and build a community together!

My Project

In our classroom, I provide my students with anchor charts to remind them of the skills that I go over in my lessons. At the moment, I do not have an ideal space to place these anchor charts when I teach the skill.

With your help, these co-created charts will be more accesible during mini-lessons.

My students love being able to be apart of the creation of the charts from our lessons. Unfortunately, with the height of our boards, it can be difficult for some students to reach. My hope is that this mobile dry erase board will give all of my students this opportunity!
